Meme Tap hosts short audio clips for play and download in the browser. We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices.
Send a takedown notice
Use the Contact form and choose the Takedown / copyright topic.
Include all of the following in the message:
- Your full name and a working email address (and postal address if you have one)
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
- The exact URL(s) on memetap.pk where the material appears
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough)
Incomplete notices may delay review. We may share your notice with the uploader or source when that is needed to resolve the claim.
What happens next
After a complete notice, we review the URLs and may remove or disable access to the material while we look into it. We aim to act on clear, complete notices within a few business days.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, send another message through the Contact form with:
- Your name, email, and address
- The URLs that were removed
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live (or where Meme Tap operates), and that you will accept service of process from the complainant
- Your physical or electronic signature
Repeat infringement
We may limit or block access for users or sources that repeatedly infringe copyright after notice.
