This page explains what Meme Tap stores, what cookies may run, and when Google Analytics or ads can collect data. The site does not ask you to create an account. There is no password and no profile.

What stays on this device

A few values sit in your browser’s local storage for this site only:

Favourite button ids, so Favourites can rebuild your list.
The accent color you picked.
Whether you chose light or dark.

Clearing site data for this origin removes them. We do not sync favourites to a server. Pressing a button loads that sound from this site so it can play in the tab. A download saves that same file on your device.

Cookies

Meme Tap itself does not need a login cookie. Your browser may still store cookies from this domain or from Google if Analytics or ads are on. Cookies can remember a session, measure visits, or help show ads. You can block or delete cookies in the browser. Some features (play, search, favourites) still work without advertising cookies.

Google Analytics

When a Google Analytics measurement ID is set on this site, Google Analytics runs in the browser. It can record pages you open, roughly where the visit came from, device type, and similar usage data. Google may set cookies for that. We use it to see which boards people open, not to build a login profile. Google’s own terms apply to that product. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

If no Analytics ID is configured, that script does not load.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Meme Tap may show ads through Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to Meme Tap and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

If ads are not live yet, those advertising cookies are not in use. This section still applies once AdSense or similar ads are added.

Forms you send us

The report form on a sound page can include a note, and optionally a name and email. That message is stored so we can review the clip. Do not put passwords or extra personal data in the note. You can also email abid.saeed.ali92@gmail.com instead.

Children

The board is a public soundboard of short clips. It is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above. Keep using the site only if you are comfortable with the current version.
